teamLab Planets is at Toyosu 6-1-16, Koto-ku, on reclaimed land on the Tokyo Bay waterfront, and the nearest station is Shin-Toyosu on the Yurikamome line, 3 minutes on foot from Exit 1A (official access page, checked 27 October 2026). The other rail option is Toyosu Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line, 10 minutes on foot from Exit 7. It is not in Odaiba, although the Yurikamome you take to get there runs through Odaiba on the way from Shimbashi.
Step by step
- 1
Get to Shimbashi Station or Toyosu Station.
Shimbashi (JR Yamanote Line, Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, Toei Asakusa Line) is the start of the Yurikamome. Toyosu is on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line, which runs through Yurakucho, Ginza-itchome and Tsukishima. From Shibuya or Asakusa, the Ginza Line reaches Shimbashi without a change; from Shinjuku, the JR Yamanote Line does.
- 2
Take the Yurikamome from Shimbashi (U01) to Shin-Toyosu (U15).
The Yurikamome is an automated, driverless line that loops through Shiodome, Odaiba and Ariake before reaching Toyosu. Shin-Toyosu is the 15th station, after Shijo-mae. Transportation IC cards such as Suica and PASMO work at the gates. Alternatively, ride the Yurakucho Line to Toyosu and walk (step 4).
- 3
Leave Shin-Toyosu by Exit 1A and walk about 3 minutes.
The museum is next to the station. The Toei bus stop Shin-Toyosu Eki-Mae is on the same corner: the official access guide says to head toward Shin-Toyosu station and the museum is on your left.
- 4
From Toyosu Station (Yurakucho Line), use Exit 7 and walk 10 minutes.
The official route: come up to street level at Exit 7, follow the elevated Yurikamome tracks, and the museum appears on the right-hand side of the pavement after about 10 minutes.
- 5
Join the queue at your admission time with your QR ticket ready.
Show the QR code on your phone or a printout at the gate. Lockers for bags and shoes are just inside.

Tips
- It is in Toyosu, not Odaiba. The mix-up has history: an earlier version of Planets ran in Odaiba in 2016 (Wikipedia), and teamLab Borderless was in Odaiba before it moved to Azabudai Hills.
- Shijo-mae Station, one stop earlier on the Yurikamome, is 5 minutes away on foot and right by Toyosu Market, so you can combine the two.
- The official site advises against the Toei bus To-05-2 from Tokyo Station, Ginza and Tsukiji, which it says is heavily congested; use the train.
- There is no parking at the museum. On weekdays a same-day ticket gets one hour of free parking at Urban Dock LaLaport Toyosu.
- Taxis must drop you where the security guard directs, not at the front entrance, which the museum says is dangerous.
